Clarion West announces its Summer Reading Series

Clarion West is once again running its well-known Summer Reading Series, featuring prominent writers of science fiction and fantasy who are teaching its prestigious Six-Week Workshop.

Authors will read from new works and answer questions about writing, teaching, editing, and other topics. Readings take place at the University Bookstore, 4326 University Way NE in Seattle, unless otherwise noted.  All readings are free and do not require tickets.

  • June 24: Paul Park
  • July 1: Kij Johnson
  • July 8: Ian McDonald
  • July 15: Hiromi Goto
  • July 22: Charlie Jane Anders
  • July 29: John Crowley (at the Downtown Seattle Public Library, 1000 Fourth Avenue)
