Clarion West is supported by a vibrant group of volunteers, former students and instructors, as well as writers and editors who have been a part of the workshop in some form over the years.
The Seventh Week is Clarion West’s roundup of news which features interviews with instructors, former students, and volunteers; reports from staff and board members; features on the world of creative writing; and news about publications and other milestones.
For the 30th anniversary of the Clarion West Writers Workshop, the organization teamed up with Seattle-based press Hydra House to publish Telling Tales, a reprint anthology of short speculative fiction by graduates of the program. The book can be purchased at hydrahousebooks.com and through most major online retailers.
Published in June 2013 in hardcover, paperback and eBook formats, Telling Tales celebrates the accomplishments of thirty years of Clarion West graduates. All proceeds from its sale will go to support the workshop.
