Excerpt
The ghost snarled and launched itself towards Vicki. Now all the days of training with her aunt and mother kicked in as she automatically stepped aside, letting the ghost pass by, then twirled and stabbed with the blade, sending it directly into Mr. Pope’s heart.
For a moment Mary forgot to cry, Vicki forgot to breathe and Mr. Pope forgot to scream.
Then the ghost exploded into a blast of white light bright as a sunburst. Mary screamed and jammed herself further into the wall.

Writing Description
I like to write -- almost anything! Whether I'm writing fantasy, horror, or new agey spiritual kind of stories, my writing can be described as very visual. I guess that comes from my years of writing for television. I like to make people see what's in my head. I think my horror is more disturbing than scary. I like to make people think. Even if I'm writing about bloodthirsty hammers. :)
Goals
I plan on finishing my paranormal mystery novel, The Dead of Winters. I'm currently at 61,000 words. It should end up around 75-80,000 words. I also hope to revise two short stories and get them circulating.
I plan to post a letter on my blog. I also plan on sending a fundraising plea out to my e-mail lists.
