Excerpt
Carl has a pair of purple knee-length boots in one hand and a black PVC codpiece in the other. "Sorry, Angie, I'm running late," he says. "I just need to get changed."
"We can do it in street clothes, Carl."
"No, no -- it's just not the same without the costume. I'll be quick, I promise."
"Okay," I say. Carl is a regular client, so I cut him some slack. We've been meeting once a week for years. I feel a little guilty about that. I should have been able to help him ages ago.

Bio
Before attending the Clarion West Writers Workshop in 2005, I wrote and directed plays, started novels, and kept my blog up to date. Since then, I've written stories that have appeared in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Asimov's, Strange Horizons, and Year's Best Science Fiction 12. The blog is rarely up to date, but the first novel is finished.
