So they sat, strangers yet comrades, and Frey Carbel withdrew into her mind, hearing the echo of wave functions, the music of chaos and nature. She felt the surge and pull of powers outside her control and this time, she let them take her.
Sleeping, she dreamed of towers and stars.

Bio
Lyn attended the Clarion West workshop in 2002. She continues to write from her yacht, and is currently based in the Caribbean. In between sailing, homeschooling her little girl, and boat refurbishment, she manages to string some words together. Her last published story was "Sleeping Dragons," published in Asimov's in 2004 and picked up by two Best-of anthologies the following year.
