Randy Henderson

Excerpt
Kyu Liu lifted his arms as his wife finished checking the straps of his bamboo armor. He could smell the salt of the sea coming through the door behind him, and hear the dawn bustle of the village as fishermen and their families prepared for the day.
All of the families except one. The Tiens had lost their son to a toad demon yesterday, terrible proof that the spirit of Sen River no longer protected the village – proof of another river spirit captured into the service of the Emperor and his strange new machines.
Bio
Randy Henderson is cool and minty with a refreshing writer aftertaste. He is a Clarion West 2009 graduate, a relapsed sarcasm addict, a milkshake connoisseur, contributor of nonfiction to Fantasy Magazine, a third evolution arch-magi of rejectomancy. He recently completed a YA novel, is constantly writing twelve stories, and lives in thirteen and a half realities, but you can usually find him just behind the drawbridge on any classic Fisher Price Little People castle.

Goals
I shall write at least one new short story, hopefully two, while working on the outlines of two novels.
Whoever is my highest donor, I will retroactively incorporate the person of your choice as a character in my story.
