Excerpt
Heartsore and in need of adventure and distraction, Gawain stepped forward. "I would be happy to lead such a party, Arthur."
And so now he was on his muddy way north with a weary priest and a score of warriors--in winter, no less, when the cold rain could turn to snow any day.
It was surprising how much mud and muck and bone-shattering cold was involved in adventure.

Writing Description
Slow. Oh, that's not what you meant, is it? At Clarion West, I had a reputation as being the social conscience of the class, and my interest in politics and cultural differences still tends to inform my writing.
Goals
Since I'm writing a follow-up novel to Yseult/Flamme und Harfe for my German publisher, my goal this year will concern revisions. I want to get at least 1500 words revised/rewritten/newly-written a day, five days a week (7500 words a week). If I can do that, the rewriting will be almost half completed by the end of the write-a-thon!
My goal is $100 in pledges. Up to $100, I will match the donations received.
