The writing part of the 2012 Clarion West Write-a-thon is done, though there's still time to donate in support of your favorite Wat author. Here's the summary so far: 228 participating writers (our goal was 200); about 400 donors (our goal is 500). Donations are still welcome, but right now the dollar total is around $21,000. As for wordcounts, submissions, revisions, drafts--the work done--that's harder to calculate. Some fell short of their goals, others shot past them--results are still coming in via individual blogs, our Facebook page, and Twitter (search using the #writeathon hashtag). Many participants admit they'd never have even thought of focusing on their challenges without the Wat.
