David Levine ('00) wins Endeavour Award
David Levine (CW '00) won the Endeavour Award for his short story collection, Space Magic (Wheatland Press).
The Endeavour Award is an annual award for "a distinguished science fiction or fantasy book written by a Pacific Northwest author or authors." The award comes with a $1000 grant and engraved plaque.
The other finalists for the 2009 Endeavour Award were: Dave Duncan for Ill Met in the Arena (Tor), Kay Kenyon for A World Too Near (Pyr), Ken Scholes for Long Walks, Last Flights and Other Stories (Fairwood Press), and Neal Stephenson for Anathem (William Morrow). The 2009 award was judged by Joe Haldeman, John Helfers, and Sarah Zettel.
