Bio

I am a 25-year-old Aquarian, writer, and athlete. Born in New Orleans, I grew up in Lawrence, Kansas. While at university in St. Louis, I studied classics and writing as a Howard Nemerov Scholar. In 2010 I participated in Kij Johnson's novel writing workshop, where I heard about Clarion West for the first time.

When not writing, I may be found:

1. In the pool.
2. Running.
3. Gaming.
4. On the climbing wall.

Writing Description

Low fantasy.

Writing Goals

For writing:

- to complete outlines for two novels, "Fire Siege" and "Watershed," and to incorporate critique from Kij Johnson's Repeat Offenders writing workshop
- to write daily
