10 Sessions: Thursdays at 5:00 PM and Saturdays at 9:00 AM
Does your writer brain ever work itself into a corner? You’ve got a fantastic story nearing completion (or substantially imagined) and you’re enthused about your writing and everything on your desk is just perfect and the coffee (or whisky) is titrated to optimal blood levels for creativity and you can hardly wait to birth this new baby masterpiece and… you’re stuck. There’s a problem in your story and you cannot see—or move—past it. You’ve thought about it so long and hard that you’ve worn ruts in your own neural pathways, and the more you think about it, the stucker you get. Time to recruit some fresh neural tissue.
Come hang out with a small group of writers for a couple hours of moderated collaborative story-doctoring. Each participant will share a problem with the group and then we’ll brainstorm solutions.
Participants are encouraged (but not required) to submit 250-word summaries of their works-in-progress and/or their story problems in advance. Enrollment is limited to six participants per session, and each session much achieve at least 50% enrollment (three participants) to run.
