Nicole Pouchet

 A former Broadway assistant director, Nicole Pouchet is a novelist and the acting CEO of Seattle- and Vancouver-based fantasy film production company Zombie Orpheus Entertainment. Her short films have screened in worldwide festivals including the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), HollyShorts, and ARTS x SDGS (the festival connecting artists with the UN and NGOs to create social change globally). Her work has been further honored with the Best Film award at Seattle Black Film Festival and with distribution on DirecTV, Amazon Prime, PBS, and Alaska Airlines In Flight. Before filmmaking, she owned and ran a marketing agency with a nine-person staff. Since selling her agency, her career goal has been to write / direct projects that incorporate social commentary into genre film. Nicole is currently a writer/director for the award-winning fantasy webseries, STROWLERS; a Board Member for the Northwest Screenwriters Guild and for Destiny City Film Festival; and a lecturer for the University of Virginia, Clarion West, SIFF, and Women in Film.
