What I Write
“You remember that project I told you about,” she said, “where our Puppet Company is partnering with a church group in the Democratic Republic of the Congo?”
“Well, guess what: it turns out that some branches of that church burn children alive, as witches.”
I stirred my cappuccino, thought about incandescent children, nodded. “I don’t think you should be in business with child burners,” I said. And we smiled at each with the helpless humour of people living in the world today.
|What I Write||
Fantasy short stories, poems, a diary, rambling letters to friends, essays on politics and culture, lists of my favourite things, and a science fiction novel.
“Dune Time“, Tor.com (April 2016)
“The Tale of the Aggrieved Astrologer“, Beneath Ceaseless Skies #101 (August 2012)
My Write-a-thon Goals
I’m deep into a science-fiction novel at the moment, and hoping to add another 50,000 words to it over the Write-a-Thon.
