I had a decent Week One, but….life has happened. It’s all good stuff, but I’m going to have to alter my goal. See below!
From my latest project, tentatively titled Spindle, Shroud, Thorn
|What I Write||
I write both science fiction and fantasy, and I try to peer into the hearts of both characters and worlds. I have a fascination with languages, biology, and botany that shows up time and time again in my work.

This year: novel! I’m drafting a book tentatively titled Spindle, Shroud, Thorn. I want to write 1000 words a week during the Write-a-thon. Update: I got a new day job (yay!) but that leaves me with far less time for writing, so I’m changing my goal to be far less ambitious.
Sponsors will get weekly updates, excerpts, and thoughts on worldbuilding–this book involves intense worldbuilding that I’m doing as I write.
And for a little extra incentive this year: the first 10 people to sponsor me for at least $25 will receive in the mail an 11×14 print of one of my photographs, pre-mounted and ready to frame. These prints are on metallic paper and are all gorgeous.
I’d love to get at least 10 sponsors this year!
