Does a writer necessarily need to belong to a Non-Western culture to write a really good, convincing story about it? How can an outsider to a given culture write about it without resorting to “exotic” tropes?

This workshop aims to treat worldbuilding on another level: not creating an alien world from scratch, but creating in your mind (and in the mind of your reader) the experience of being in another country, living and breathing a different culture, without the eye of a foreigner, but that of an insider.

This workshop is available to anyone aged 18 or older for a $55 fee.

Unless otherwise stated, all times listed are US Pacific Time.
