Clarion West depends on a corps of dedicated volunteers to produce quality communications and keep its programs running smoothly. We invite you to support our work and experience Clarion West in action.

If you live in the Seattle area, or plan to be here during the summer, Clarion West could use your help. Volunteers may be asked to help with set-up and take-down of workshop facilities, help with Tuesday night readings, drive students to and from various events throughout the workshop period, participate in the workshop planning committee, help with Friday night parties, and help transport out-of-town students from and to the airport.
Proofreaders/Copyeditors: proofreaders and copyeditors review official Clarion West texts and designs prior to publication. This work can be done via the Internet, so there’s no need to live in Seattle. Workload varies seasonally and is shared.
Copywriters: Clarion West needs texts for its website, emails, and printed materials. This work can be done via the Internet, so there’s no need to live in Seattle. Workload varies seasonally and is shared.
Social media coordinators: volunteers are needed to help curate Clarion West’s Facebook and Twitter presence. This work can be done via the Internet, so there’s no need to live in Seattle. Workload varies seasonally and is tied to Clarion West programs.
