Indrapramit Das

Indrapramit Das (aka Indra Das) is a writer and editor from Kolkata. He is a Lambda Literary Award-winner for his debut novel The Devourers (Penguin Random House), a British Fantasy and Subjective Chaos Kind of Award-winner for his novella The Last Dragoners of Bowbazar (Subterranean Press), and a Shirley Jackson Award-winner for his widely anthologized short fiction, which has appeared in publications including Reactor, Clarkesworld, and Asimov’s Science Fiction. His debut anthology as an editor, Deep Dream: Science Fiction Exploring the Future of Art (MIT Press), was nominated for a Locus Award. He is an Octavia E. Butler Scholar and grateful alumnus of Clarion West 2012. He lived, studied, and worked in India, the United States, and Canada. He currently resides in his hometown.
