Coworking for LGBTQIA+ Writers

Do you need some accountability to show up and write?
These weekly September coworking sessions offer LGBTQIA+ writers a low-pressure space to gather and work. Think of it as your weekly coffeeshop meetup, with some brief intros and check-ins every 45 minutes or so.

This workshop is available to anyone aged 18 or older for a $0 fee.
Unless otherwise stated, all times listed are US Pacific Time.
We offer a limited number of scholarships for each class to Black and Indigenous writers and writers from other marginalized backgrounds on a first come, first served basis. Please email us at workshop@clarionwest.org with a one-paragraph statement about your scholarship interest and/or need. Please include the name of the class you would like to apply the scholarship to.
By participating in any Clarion West activity, you are agreeing to our Code of Conduct, the Clarion West Harassment Policy, and our Zoom Guidelines.
Clarion West will refund all class fees if the request is made 30 days prior to the class date. Refund requests made within 30 days of the class will be honored if we can fill the seat. Any exceptions are subject to approval by our workshop staff.
This workshop is available to anyone aged 18 or older. If you have a question about the minimum age requirement, please email us at helpdesk@clarionwest.org.
Class location, parking information, and building access will be sent by email within two weeks of the class start date.

If you sign up but cannot attend the workshop, please give us as much notice as possible so that we can contact a waitlisted student and offer them your spot. In order to process a refund, we must receive 48-hour notice and be able to fill the spot with a waitlisted student. Exceptions may be made given emergency circumstances at administrator’s discretion. If Clarion West cancels the class for any reason, refunds will be made as soon as possible after the class has been cancelled.
