Mind Mapping the Narrative
Whether you write strictly to the shape of a detailed outline or glory in the journey of a rambling draft, there comes a point when you must assess whether your story is doing what you intend for it to do. Mind mapping, a visual tool often used for non-fiction, allows you to identify the main thesis of your story and organize the supporting scenes which support that thesis. This workshop will demonstrate how to deconstruct a completed story using mind mapping techniques, and how to plan an outline or reconstruct a first draft with the same techniques.
This workshop is available to anyone aged 18 or older for a $55 fee.
Unless otherwise stated, all times listed are US Pacific Time.
